Born in the Indian Himalayas, I grew up in a serene hill town nestled in the mountains of northern India. Like many Indian children, I began practicing yoga daily at school. I later earned a Master’s degree in Yogic Sciences from the renowned Sanskrit University in Haridwar.
I learned yoga in the traditional Indian way—the way it has been passed down for generations—and this is the approach I bring to my teaching. Besides yoga, I am deeply interested in Ayurveda and naturopathy. I am also a lover of music and nature, and I believe that the lap of nature is one of the most secure and nurturing places. I value sustainable living, and I believe it is each person’s duty to take care of their mind, body, and the environment.
